Profiles, Access and a simpler app
A public profile built to sell, one visibility per project that reads the same everywhere, and a layout with less to learn.
Profiles
- Animated profile pictures on Pro and Ultra. Upload a GIF and your picture moves everywhere your name appears.
- A verified check next to your name on Pro and Ultra. Ultra picks its colour.
- Ultra profiles carry their own colours, and can live on a domain of your own.
- The separate link in bio page is gone. Your public profile is now the one page that holds your links, your projects and your tracks, laid out to look good and to sell.
Access and privacy
- One visibility per project and per track, and it says the same thing on every screen: private, invite only, anyone with the link, or for sale.
- New projects and tracks start private.
- Invite only links can be locked with a password, on Pro and Ultra.
- Every project and track wears its level as an icon: a padlock for private, a hand for invite only, a globe for anyone with the link, a wallet for something on sale.
Around the app
- Tools is down to Audience and Emails. Storage and Products moved into the profile menu, and Upload to YouTube and Wavematch into each track’s details, so you reach them where you use them.
- Messages and Opportunities are out of the product for now.
- You can keep your tools in the left sidebar under Library instead of switching between the two, and choose which rows show and in what order, from Settings.
- Search has its own page, with results grouped into profiles, library, storage and the rest.
- Notifications are a single feed, with everything that happens to your music in one place.
- On a phone you get the real player: waveform, transport, pitch and volume.
Sharing
- The share button takes any pack or track, whatever its level. A private one asks who can open it first: invite only, public, or for sale.
- Sharing an invite only pack or track hands out an invite link that actually opens, instead of a public address that did not.
- The level called anyone with the link is simply called public now, everywhere.
- Send by email is the last option in every share, and opens the composer with the item attached.
The Pro paywall
- A new look: artwork across the top, and a headline that names the thing you just tried to do.
- Annual is first and selected by default, and the seven day trial applies to annual Pro.
- Ultra has no free trial.
Plans
- Free, Pro and Ultra sit side by side on one pricing page.
- Seven days free on annual Pro, if you have not had a trial before.
- The free plan holds 25 tracks.
Fixes
- Imports that looked stuck now finish, and land in the right project.
- A shared folder stays a folder, so the people you sent it to keep the access you gave them.
- Menus, dropdowns and dialogs open the same way everywhere, in light and in dark.
- Pages settle without jumping: the placeholder you see first now matches the layout that replaces it.
- Plenty of smaller fixes across the library, sharing and playback.
